Caprese Salad
Sliced style
Ingredients:
4 firm ripe Roma Tomatoes sliced – ¼ inch thick slices
1 lb fresh Mozzarella, cut in ¼ inch thick slices
1/4 cup Extra Virgin Italian Olive Oil
1 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar
20-30 Large Fresh Basil Leaves
Sea Salt to taste
Freshly Ground Black Pepper to taste
Directions:
Layer alternating slices of tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil leaves.
Drizzle your salad with olive oil, and balsamic vinegar.
Season lightly with fresh ground black pepper and sea salt.
