Clean eating

What is clean eating?? The importance of clean eating is consuming food in its more natural state, or as close as possible.  It's not a DIET; it's a lifestyle approach. Eat 5 to 6 times a day!!! - 3 meals and 2 to 3 smalls snacks. Include a lean protein, plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables,  and a complex carbohydrate with each meal. This keeps your body energized and burning calories efficiently all day long. Chose organic whenever possible.   If your budget limits you, make meat, eggs, dairy and the Dirty Dozen (ewg.org/foodnews) your organic priorities. Drink at least 2 liters of water a day - Limit your alcohol to one glass of antioxidant rich red wine a day. Get label savvy (important) read labels!!!! Clean foods contain short ingredient lists. Sweet Potato Salad

This salad is topped with hearty sweet potatoes--a superfood that is high in beta-carotene, potassium, and manganese. Pumpkin seeds add extra crunch! Total Time:  1 hour 15 min. Prep Time:  15 min. Cooking Time:  30 min. Yield:  2 servings Ingredients: 1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil 1½ tsp. red wine vinegar 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice ½ tsp. raw honey (or pure maple syrup) 1 dash Himalayan salt (or sea salt) 1 tsp. chopped fresh herbs (like basil, oregano or parsley) (to taste; optional) 1 medium baked sweet potato, peeled and cut into ½-inch cubes 1 medium green apple, chopped ½ medium red bell pepper, chopped 1 stalk green onion, finely sliced 2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh cilantro 4 cups fresh arugula 2 Tbsp. pumpkin seed kernels, toasted (or chopped raw walnuts) Preparation: 1. Quien soy

¿Quien soy? Soy hija del Rey de Reyes ! Jesus! Mi Dios! Soy esposa; casada 10 años, madre de 3 hermosos niños, empresaria, dueña de mi propio negocio, amiga, hermana, tía, hija, prima, sobrina... En fin soy una mujer como tu! Con Pasión por lo que emprendo, que confía en Dios sobre todas las cosas. Una mujer con sueños, metas, y visión, no cualquier visión. La visión y el propósito que Dios tiene para mi y mi familia, dispuesta conquistar ese propósito, por el cual Dios me creó. Ahora bien, esa mujer que describí es la mujer de HOY! La mujer de hace 4 años, uyyyyy por donde empezar..... Insegura, cansada, cero energías, anemia, 30 libras de mas, cero metas, cero visión, muy poca relación con Dios, triste, intentando mil dietas fuertes y hasta el hospital fue a parar por tomar pastillas, alimentación malísima! Pero exactamente 5 meses luego de tener a mi 3era baby y ya tenía una relación íntima con mi Señor Jesús fue que algo en mi despertó y Dios me llenó de fuerz

Caprese Salad

Caprese Salad   Sliced style Ingredients : 4 firm ripe Roma Tomatoes sliced – ¼ inch thick slices 1 lb fresh Mozzarella, cut in ¼ inch thick slices 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Italian Olive Oil 1 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar 20-30 Large Fresh Basil Leaves Sea Salt to taste Freshly Ground Black Pepper to taste Directions : Layer alternating slices of tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil leaves. Drizzle your salad with olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Season lightly with fresh ground black pepper and sea salt.

Hummus

Rico hummus hecho en casa y saludable Ingredientes: Garbanzos (1 lata o cartoncito organico) preferiblemente garbanzos cocinados organicos 2 dientes de ajo 1/2 limon aceite de oliva 2tbs sal (pisca) OPCIONAL: 1 TBS Tahini Turmeric Mexclar todos los ingredientes en nutribullet o licuadora y Listo. Le puedes hechar turmeric arriba y una hoja de cilantro al gusto :)

Quinoa recipe

Ingredients Onions  3 garlics fresh and cut very little  vegetables (your choice) I use mushrooms, red peppers, yellow peppers and green peppers  pinch of salt pinch of pepper red beans (o rosadas) cilantro (fresh) pinch of turmeric Quinoa 2 cups of water coconut oil Combine 1-7 together with coconut oil  (stir fry) until cooked a little bit and set apart. (see picture 2) In a different pan boil 2 cups of water and 1 cup of quinoa cook on med high for a little and then cook in low until done. (see picture 1).   Combine all ingredients together and ENJOY!!!!! :) Note: I cook most of my things by instinct, I always mix and match and use different vegetables etc.. depending of what I have available. Please put your own personal touch for a better outcome :)
